Mr. Khaled Mohammed Ahmed Abou Heif

Managing Director

Mr. Khaled Abou Heif was appointed as the Managing Director of AMIC in 2011. He brings to his role, a wealth of knowledge that he gained from a distinguished career, a mixture of local and international financial institutions. Mr. Abou Heif is at present the Chairman of AT Brokerage (non-executive), Vice Chairman (non-executive) of AT Asset Management and AT Financial Holding and a Board Member in Egyptian Capital Market Association (ECMA) since 2008.

He also played a number of considerable roles in his occupation to various board positions as, Al Yusr for Water Desalination and Purification, Al Rabie Poultry, Arab Egypt for Broiler Chicken, Minapharm Pharmaceutical, Dar Al Fouad Hospital, Minapharm ProBioGen, Arab Company for Medical Appliances (ACMA).

Mr. Abou Heif led a distinguished career as the Managing Director of Commercial International Brokerage Company (CIBC). As a Managing Director of CIBC, Mr. Abou heif led CIBC to rank first among brokerage companies.

Mr. Abou Heif was formerly a board member in C.I. Capital Holding – a member of Commercial International Bank Group - since March 2005 where in a leading manner, he assisted to a great extent in the establishment of the investment banking in the Group.

Formerly, Mr. Abou Heif served as a board member of Misr for Central Clearing, Depository and Registry (M.C.D.R.), a position he held till 2012.

Mr. Abou Heif successfully completed the Corporate Governance program from the Executive Education Program by Wharton University, and holds Bachelor's degree in Commerce from Cairo University in 1990.

AHMED IBRAHIM ABDEL AZIM AHMED

Chief Operating Officer - COO

Ahmed Ibrahim is a Business Leader and Visionary who is passionate about building solid and well-governed platforms that satisfy Strategic Business Objectives. 

Ahmed is AMIC's Chief Operating Officer since 2012. Prior to AMIC, he was the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Board Member at Obelisk Asset Management. 

His scope of expertise includes, Strategic Planning, Capacity Building, General Restructuring, Privatization and Capital Restructuring.

His Management school, combines deep operational knowledge with broad strategic insights. Through his deep believe in Change, Ahmed uses his talents to master growing Business Operations in our ever-changing business environments.

He is involved in AMIC’s Strategic Business Planning and establishes innovative initiatives to expand the organization's portfolio growth. With a sharp focus, Ahmed is responsible for setting strategic objectives for the Investments, Finance, HR, ICT and IR Divisions. He oversees the company’s operations to ensure that short-term and medium-term goals are met. 

Ahmed sits on several Boards / Committees of AMIC’s Subsidiaries. 

Ahmed started his career in Assurance, Advisory and Corporate Finance Firms, such as Arthur Anderson, Ernest & Young and Deloitte. Later on Ahmed moved to CI Capital Holding as Head of Financial Planning and MIS. He is a regular Key Speaker and Panelist at several Business summits such as the Operational Excellence Africa Summit (OPEX) - South Africa.

He received his Master’s degree in Business Administration from ESLSCA Business School in 2010.
